

I've had the chance to interview many different scientists over the years, working as a science broadcaster. Of course, I'm using a scientific lens with this book. There's a much bigger picture of reality out there, and if you're not paying attention to it, it'll sort of crush its way in. One of the best definitions that I've heard is really that when you're inside of the bubble, it's like you're inhabiting a fiction a fictional bubble. It may feel prosperous at the time but the problem is that of course, inevitably, all bubbles do burst. We know that when we're inhabiting a bubble it's a dangerous place to be. Ziya Tong: Okay, so it's the first question people tend to ask me, but I know that people are familiar with, say, real estate bubbles, or stock market bubbles, or tech bubbles.
